Konditorei Konrad Ringler in Rottach-Egern

Discovered by chance and not disappointed - shortly before Christmas the shop was nicely decorated, there were mixed biscuits (250 and 500 g) and several types of cake (blueberry sensational!). You can tell that good ingredients are used here. The parlor is closed due to corona, but there are still customers - to take away! There is enough parking space on the property as well as free-range chickens and seating for guests - as soon as everything is back to normal ... You can also look into the bakery in the basement through a glazed area 😊

The cake is unique, especially the dachi. You sit in a wonderful garden, everything is perfect. An oasis on the Tegernsee.

An institution, genuine and extremely tasty. If you come early enough, you are spoiled for choice, every single cake is delicious. My favorite is the cherry crumble. Whether outside under the trees or inside in the beautifully wood-paneled room, there is no better place to enjoy delicious cakes without frippery!

After today, when my wife was cooking, I had the idea to bake a cake, this meant that this is hardly worth it for the two of us. I should go to Cafe Ringler or Krupp and get two pieces instead of breaking down the whole kitchen. No sooner said than done - today I drove to the Cafe Ringler at 1 pm to get two pieces of cake. My wife wanted raspberry cake and I took a piece of apple with crumble when my eyes fell on nougataler on the counter. One of them I said and the nougataler landed next to the cake. 10 Euro 60 said the lady behind the counter, I put down 11 euros, thank you and left. Only on the way back in the car I started to calculate: 2 x 2.80 euros for the cake (according to the price tag on the cash register) and 2.50 euros for the Nougattaler makes 8.10 euros, which makes a difference of 2.50 euros. Since she will have probably wrapped me 2 Nougattaler, I thought to myself and had to find out home that it was only one. Although the place under the trees at Cafe Ringler has always been my favorite place for coffee and cake on hot summer days for more than 20 years, this time I have only two stars, even though the cake was as great as ever. Well, I think, with the "price policy" that was my last visit / purchase there. I do not want to imply any intention, but with a manageable assortment of maybe six or seven different types of cakes under the counter and nougat lunches on the counter and three ailing prices (2.80 euros for cakes in the store, 3.50 euros for cakes in the Café & 2.50 euros for the Nougattaler), as well as a manageable customer (only me!) Should not fail such a miscalculation!

Very nice café in the style of a Bavarian parlor. Works like a grown family business that complements the pastry shop. Very cozy and rustic café. Pieces of cake € 3.50 in the café and € 2.80 to take away. Delicious coffee and very nice service. Cakes are homemade and great. Difficult to find - so an insider tip;)
